Born in Texas, Indigenous and Mexican American artist L. Renée Núñez lives and works on the Edwards Plateau near Balcones Canyonlands Preserve. Her art, painting and installation, is of and from the land of the Edwards Plateau. Núñez has a BA in Fine Art from the University of Texas.
Núñez recently had a solo booth at NADA New York, and she will have a solo show at Northern–Southern, May 2026.
